Life around our ranch are all these words wrapped in one - peaceful, hectic, serene, happy, chaotic, relaxed, and laid back. In my lifetime, I wanted to live on a place that was a little out of town on a dead-end road. We were granted that dream and love the home that we have made together.
We converted a horse ranch in to a Hereford cattle ranch. Converted a 1960's house into our 'home'. We hope we've made a refuge for our family and friends to come and be together. Between our constant cattle shows, obligations at work, school, girls college activities and visits, involvement with our Hereford breed associations, FFA, 4-H, and making sure we raise our daughters to be respectful of themselves and others, life is full throttle!
From time to time, however, we do tend to crash...the laundry isn't always done...and the house, well in my opinion there are always better things to do than scrub a floor!
